i love the 60s

So im breaking my promise, and im not going to blog about NYC, because honestly if i were to blog about it, i would want to write about every single detail about what i did. Therefore, i am not going to because i do not have enough time and/or effort to do such a thing. lame ehhh

And i now have a new number, some of you may have it already, but its my tombile sidekick 3 number, that which is: 9162206894. peace!

NYC - day 5

So because I just realized how exausting it is to upload a bunch of pics and updating this silly journal everynight after 10 hour days of walking, i (un)fortunately decided im not going to update my livejournal until my trip is over and im home. Whew. Took me awhile to figure that out huh.

ps. kianakabanakitana should NOT move 100 miles away me.

NYC - day 4

So today it rained most of the time, so i barely got chances to take any pictures. bah. The only place we browsed around today was Chinatown/SoHo. And my gosh was it a madhouse. Can we say, BARGAINS?! FAKE STUFF?? oh well all you pay for is the name anyways. woop

Enough of the fictional TV shows, this is the REAL NYPD BIATCH.

My sister duking it out for deals

Seafood market, smelt wonderful. Want me to make sushi with ingredients from here? Better say your last wishes.

This is where we had a lunch/predinner, we were hunting for dimsum, and it wasnt so hard to accomplish the task

We also shopped at SoHo area which had plenty of stores, but the fact that it was pouring and we didnt have any kind of coverage, we had to get back home. And as usual, we came home as moist as ever from all the rain and humidity. GROSS. I'm ending the night early, only to be able to accomplish some big things for the next day. Wish me luck!

NYC - day 3

So I spent pretty much most of my day shopping and walking around the lower midtown area. We were so tired from the day before and ended up sleeping in till about 2pm hahaha. Oh well.

So we spent most of the time on 5th avenue and 33rd st. One of the popular places to shop in town.

So the empire state building.. i think this was it?? hahaha

Man Banana Republic had a crazy staircase.

And this is the biggest Macys. In the WORRRLDDD. booyah. Too bad we got there 30 minutes to closing and basically had no time to look around a huge ass macys that was a street block long and wide. And it was their one day sale too. boooo. Oh well i might go back later.

One the way home one of the subway trains were having technical difficulties and of course it happened to be the one we were in. We were stuck in the middle of 2 stops so we couldnt really get out of the train. We waited for about a half hour until it started moving again. Well because the subway line connected with the bronx, i guess it gives me a reason why the train was so janky. Hahaha oops. Since we got home a little too late for authentic food, we decided to order pizza down the street.. mushrooms are TOO good to be true. True that. And this concludes my night. Im exhausted once again, and i have to poo. But i gotta prep up for tomorrow! OH and magen, sarah, annete, and cherise are coming to NYC too finally! WOO hyphy

NYC - day 1/2

Recapping day one with pics..

Lift off from sac!

Made it to inwood at my sisters apt..

Meet Roxy.

Meet Abby.

and more buildings.. well this is a church. But thats still a building.

Oh dont you dare..!

Subways are the tropical indoors, humidity wise that is.

Blue Man group is AMAZINGG. Go watch them.

So today was pretty much a 12 hour day of walking, i wonder how much calories ive burned, and how many miles ive walked. Well, enough to make me exhausted this moment and im about to crash. And to only think this is only my 2nd day, and almost everyday is going to be like this. woooo0000oop..!

NYC - day 1

The flight was good, although there were 2 layovers which was pretty lame. The first plane sucked, first of all, it was small and cramp and everyone on it was getting claustrophobic. And when we landed we had a delay cause the plane could connect to a gate so we had to take a shuttle to bring us back to the terminal. I felt bad because there was a family who was flying to boston and he missed his flight. :\ I cant imagine missing a flight, that would suck TOO much.

Second plane wasnt too bad. Although being on a plane for 5 hours straight can be a little cramping. I was sitting next to this crazy russian couple, things i noticed about them: The husband was straight beastly hairy all over his body, the wife was using an apple ibook, and she also attempted to sleep the same way i did on the plane which was using the tray as something to lay on haha. I only managed to grab about 20 minutes of sleep. They played Shrek 3 on the movie screens, but i didnt bother to watch it cause id rather listen to whatever was on my ipod.

The third flight was sweet and short, i felt so relieved to have finally made it to NY. I was just amazed to look over the city right before landing, seeing an island full of skyscrapers, as i said to my sister "its a stack of legos". The private taxi came on time and i pretty much made it to my sisters apt on schedule. It was good to see her since i dont really get to see her all that often anymore. Not only am i staying with her but i get to stay with 2 cats whom i have to babysit when my sister is at work. I pretty much just rested up the rest of the time and took a tour of a part of inwood(the neighborhood she lives at). So far this area is realllyy nice. Like its super family orientated and more rural or suburbial? Mucho mexicanos too.

Since my sister was too busy or whatever to call some place to get some delivery for dinner, we just warmed up a bunch of frozen stuff in her freezer. And i did a good job of cleaning out her fridge/freezer too. I made different lists for the trip such as which landmarks i want to visit, where to shop, where to eat, and as well as what souvineers im going to bring back for certain people(im seriously buying at least 5 i <3 NY shirts). I miss you guys already over in the westsideee, but ill be backckkc. Pictures coming perhaps tomorrow night?

Heres a new pet peeve

I hate seeing people saying how they love allll kinds of music and ohhh music is my lifeee ill listen to everything when they have NO IDEA whats out there and theyre too comfortable with their mainstream rap/rock/pop/rnb.

No obviously you wont listen to everything, and you dont love all kinds. Not saying i do love every kind, but i dont talk like i know everything.
